Macro Edge started as a personal tool. As a macro trader and student, I was frustrated — the data I needed most (institutional positioning, commercial hedger extremes) was either buried in raw CFTC files or locked behind expensive platforms that still didn't present it the way I actually wanted to trade it.
So I built it myself. What you see here is the exact dashboard I use. When I realized other macro traders faced the same problem, I decided to make it public. No fluff, no noise — just clean institutional data, the way it should have always been presented.
